Massachusetts state bicycle transportation plan

Massachusetts developed a State Bicycle Transportation Plan which identifies future and existing cross-state routes.  Some follow US Bicycle Route  (USBR) corridors and others are parts of proposed or existing rail trails.  The Bicycle and Pedestrian Office and Department of Conservation and Recreation identified USBR 1 as their priority route and was scheduled to begin route development in 2011. For more information or to volunteer, email Josh Lehman, Bicycle-Pedestrian Program Coordinator.
